Cat Peak
Persistent delayed expanding Wilds create visible multi-spin value.
How the game works and what to check
Start with the documented Cat Peak feature
Cat Peak is part of the same game family as Wolf Peak and Fu Ren Wu and uses delayed expanding Wilds that can remain active across multiple spins. A Wild already in progress represents state that a previous player has partially built, and multiple active or well-positioned Wilds can create a substantially stronger setup than a fresh machine.
Check that the game matches this guide. Read the help screen, note the bet and denomination, and check what stays on the screen after each spin. A different version may have different rules.

Persistent expanding-wild state evaluation.
The visible Cat Peak signal only matters after bet, denomination, ownership and reset rules are confirmed on the installed game.
Before you play a bet, verify eligibility, denomination and what the visible state does after the relevant feature or award.
Separate the visible fact from the inference
Cat Peak is part of the same game family as Wolf Peak and Fu Ren Wu and uses delayed expanding Wilds that can remain active across multiple spins. A Wild already in progress represents state that a previous player has partially built, and multiple active or well-positioned Wilds can create a substantially stronger setup than a fresh machine. The AP value comes from evaluating how much useful Wild time remains and where those Wilds are positioned on the reels. Exact positive-EV entry points depend on the complete Wild state, bet, and remaining-spin value.
Record position and remaining wild time
For each delayed expanding Wild, note its reel position, current size or stage, and any displayed spins remaining. A Wild on a central reel can interact with the pay structure differently from one on an outside reel, and two Wilds with equal duration can therefore carry different practical value.
Watch expansion and expiration
Use consecutive snapshots to see when a Wild expands, when its timer decreases, and what event removes it. Confirm that the active state remains after a player change. If multiple Wilds overlap, record them independently before estimating the combined screen.
The tempting Cat Peak shortcut
Do not count visible Wild symbols without accounting for their location and remaining life. A dramatic-looking reel may have little time left, while a smaller state with several future expansions can be materially different.
Minimum record for Cat Peak
- Exact title, machine, denomination and bet
- Complete starting state—not only the strongest component
- Rule or observed event that changes the state
- Post-award reset and any state that remains
Machine checks
- Map the exact reel positions, wilds, multipliers or expanded areas now active.
- Check whether the state belongs to this bet, denomination and game version.
- Verify its remaining duration and the event that consumes or resets it.
